In The Year 2020, the LORD will visit you and do you good.
“And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. The name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day” (Joshua 5:9)
The LORD will visit you and roll away any reproach in your life, no matter how long you have been in that problem.
In the book of Joshua, the Lord commanded Joshua to circumcise the men. There was a re-established of the covenant that God made with Abraham. The token of that covenant was circumcision of Abraham and his male children.
When Joshua obeyed the LORD, the people where brought into a position of favour with God. God is a covenant keeping God.
Get committed and dedicated to the LORD and you will get into favour with Him. Continue to be a child of God and trust Him in all that you think and do. God is faithful and He will visit you and do you good.
‘ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall make straight your paths.’ (Prov. 3:5-6)ESV
Also, the word of God says, ‘Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.’ (Psalm 37:3-5) ESV.
In Rom.8:31-32, The scripture says, ‘What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?’
God has stepped out to help you from today onward, step out in faith, in prayers and with courage to act on the promises; trusting the Lord all the way.
If you encounter difficulties along the way, check it out with him and ask for help. If you miss it, repent and turn to him for help. (See Job 36:8-11) ESV) Find this scripture and read it, you will see the goodness of God to those who keep close to him always.
God bless you.
“Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways, you shall eat the fruit of the labour of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. your wife will be like fruitful vine within your house; your children will like olive shoots around your table” (Psalm 128:1-3)ESV
There is double blessing for those who serve the Lord; Their blessings extend to members of their family. The word of God says it shall be well with you; also your wife and children benefit from God’s blessings resulting from your reverence to the LORD. Imagine what will happen if you encourage your family and motivate them to serve the Lord also. It will result in bandwagon of blessings.
In Psalm 127:3, the Scripture says, ‘Behold children are the heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb a reward’ ‘Blessed is everyone who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with the enemies in the gate’ (Psalm 128:5)ESV.
Do you see your children as a burden or as a blessing?
If you train up your children well, they will be a defence for you with time. They will care for you and shield you from societal ill that is common now in many places.
It is important that you give your children both spiritual and physical support. You should provide inspiration for them and teach them to look up to God for direction and help. Don’t leave them to learn the basic things of life from other people who you don’t know. There are many of such all over the community.
You must never harass your children; they may become strangers to you and even run away from you and your house. You may lose them to drugs, alcohol and immorality. This is because they will seek comfort from those things.
It is important to know that children, no matter their gender, are blessings from the Lord. If you reverence the Lord, you must appreciate his gifts. You must not be involved in domestic violence. There are legal consequences and it is socially unacceptable. Don’t hit your spouse for any reason and avoid bullying them.
It is important to give attention to learning how to take care of your home. Ignorance is deadly; avoid it.
Jesus is Lord
It is our month of divine visitation in Graceful Voice. God is about to intervene in your situations and circumstances. The Lord will visit you at your crossroad and deliver you from all your troubles
This may sound so good, but if you believe you will see the salvation of the Lord. if you believe you will see the glory of God in your life. (John 11:40)
The Lord said in Jer. 32:27 ‘Behold, I am the LORD, The God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?’
In verse 17, Jeremiah had said, ‘Ah GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee’ (KJV).
God simply reassured him in verse 27 of the faith he had confessed in Him in verse 17.
What are you believing God for? What are your prayers and the thoughts of your heart? You must keep faith in God, because God is about to do a great thing in your life.
It is written, ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that work in us’. (Eph3:20)
I want you to trust and hope effectively in God’s mercies and compassion and he will come true for you. You have everything to gain. It doesn’t matter how long or elusive your desires may be, let God do his will in your life.
Check out Jer. 29:11. ‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give an expected end’
What then is my/your ‘expected end?’ (………………), fill in the gap. If we consider God, faithful, then lets consider it done and strike it (them) out of the list of challenges.
God bless you.
Your wellbeing is important to God. He creates opportunities that can change your life situations. It is important that you connect with such landmarks, as they come in different forms. God does not despise anyone, he want you to succeed in life. You can read about this in the following scriptures – Job 36:5 – 13.
“Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
He does not preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the oppressed.
He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; for He has seated them forever,
and they are exalted. And if they are bound in fetters, held in the cords of affliction,
then He tells them their work and their transgressions—
that they have acted defiantly.
He also opens their ear to instruction, and commands that they turn from iniquity.
If they obey and serve Him,
they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they do not obey, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. “But the hypocrites in heart store up wrath; they do not cry for help when He binds them”
